About Me

I have a degree in Visual Communication Design and am currently in my third year of a Computer Science degree. I specialize in web design and front-end development, with experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and C#.

My expertise lies at the intersection of creativity and technology, with an eye for aesthetics and passion for problem-solving balancing form and function. I have experience using design principles with the Adobe suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, AfterEffects and Premiere. I am proficient in UX/UI interaction design and prototyping with Figma. I can then layer the application of functionality with experience in programming languages including Python, C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with frameworks such as Express, Angular, React, and Vue, XML with XSD/DTD, JSON, PostgreSQL/mySQL and microprocessor programming. I also have educational experience in computer networks and data communications, and IT project management. As a woman in STEM I am a minority in the classroom, though leverage a diverse perspective to bring unique, creative and thoughtful solutions. I embrace challenges with resilience breaking through barriers erected by stereotypes and societal expectations.

I am privileged to have studied across three continents, in Australia, the UAE and the USA, where I am currently on a student exchange program at the University of Connecticut. My independence and adaptability has allowed me to thrive under each setting and these experiences have broadened my cultural appreciation and perspectives.

As I progress in my academic journey, I aim to leverage my interdisciplinary skills to drive innovation across media campaigns or software development.
