Rebranding of Más Libritos with a creative and informed visual system. Más Libritos is the first Latina-owned, intersectional feminist independent pop-up bookstore in Springdale, Arkansas centering the stories of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities. It was founded and is owned by Diana Dominguez. As a specialty bookstore, their selection is highly curated and intentional with books exclusively authored/illustrated by BIPOC communities.
From the time of the Olmecs, between 1200 BC and 600 AD, pottery has been a central part of Mexican life. Taking inspiration from the geometric patterns featured in Mexican ceramics, indigenous weaving practices, and the work by Mexican artist Eduardo Terrazas, we sought to create a visual homage to the long legacy of geometric design in Mexico.
